Ford Contour Hood QuickLIFT & QuickLIFT Elite
Replace the stock hood prop rod with the hood QuickLIFT from Redline Tuning. Everyone who loves working on their car knows what a pain-in-the-neck the stock prop rod is. With a center mounting point, the prop rod is located where it is easily bumped and is always in the way when working on the engine. The Redline Tuning QuickLIFT System has been carefully designed for a quick and painless installation, eliminating the need for the prop rod. The QuickLIFT will fit all Contour models - modify your Contour today and throw away your prop rod for good. See note below warranty for pre-98 Contour installations.
The gas springs included in the QuickLIFT kit are custom high strength steel cylinders (black in color) with black extending struts and include black ball-end fittings.

2 year limited warranty for QuickLIFT, 4 years for QuickLIFT ELITE:
Redline Tuning warrants for 2 years from the date of purchase all components included in the QuickLIFT and 4 years from the date of purchase for the QuickLIFT Elite kits. Kits transferred to other vehicles voids the warranty. Our warranty for this kit is only valid if installed on the vehicle for which it was purchased. Our manual and testing are specific to the stock hoods for specified model years your QuickLIFT was designed. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Note:
Pre-1998 Contours have a slight variation in the installation. There is ridge on the fender lip where the lower ball-stud is to be mounted that isn't present on newer Contour models. This lip must be flattened or compressed in the 1/2" location where the lower ball-stud is to be mounted. This is a simple procedure, but is required for a proper installation and only on pre-98 Contours.
