1999-2002 Mercury Cougar Hood QuickLIFT
Replace the stock hood prop rod with the hood QuickLIFT from Redline Tuning. Your Cougar deserves this mod! Remove your stock prop today and install our very clean and simple QuickLIFT kit. We have designed all of the included components specifically for the Cougar - the gas-charged struts are beautifully tucked up near the hinge and look as though they should have come from the factory.
Our QuickLIFT kit frees up access to the engine bay and will allow you to work on your vehicle from all sides without reaching around your prop rod! Modify your Cougar today and throw away your prop rod for good.
The gas springs included in the QuickLIFT kit are custom high strength steel tubes (black in color) with black rods and include black or silver ball-end fittings.
Designed for: 1999-2002 Mercury Cougar stock steel hoods. Also tested on Kaminari fiberglass hood. Photo to the right represents prototype QL kit, all yellow Cougar photos below show production version.

2 year limited warranty for QuickLIFT, 4 years for QuickLIFT ELITE:
Redline Tuning warrants for 2 years from the date of purchase all components included in the QuickLIFT and 4 years from the date of purchase for the QuickLIFT Elite kits. Kits transferred to other vehicles voids the warranty. Our warranty for this kit is only valid if installed on the vehicle for which it was purchased. Our manual and testing are specific to the stock hoods for specified model years your QuickLIFT was designed. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
