The QuickLift System is awesome. Sure, you can lift the hood manually, but this makes it so much easier! And with the lift rod out of the way, it's easier to access the engine compartment to add fluids and do other minor maintenance. The QuickLift system is fairly easy to install and took about an hour.

The Redline team opted to have a replacement kit sent out to me due to a holiday season carrier issue. This enabled me to get my product immediately, and above all, showed the utmost professionalism.

The QuickLIFT PLUS hood springs kit is awesome! I bought this for my '14 Tacoma, and now for my '21. The instructions are clear and thorough. Easily one of my favorite mods that make a world of difference. You'll never use a prop-rod again!

Gas Lift Struts Upgrade My 2022 Tacoma	August 15, 2022

I've used these struts on my previous pickup truck, and it was a no-brainer to install them on my replacement. Struts arrived in a timely manner and were securely packaged, along with very detailed illustrated installation instructions. Installation went without a hitch, except that I drilled 13/32" holes in place of the 3/16" recommended to accommodate the rivets. Also, I had to purchase a Doyle heavy duty riveter from Harbor Freight to expand the rivets, definitely not possible with a conventional hand riveter, unless you can beat Arnold Schwartzenegger at arm wrestling. Overall I am pleased with the struts and look forward to many years of service.

Great videos on redline tuning struts for my 2022 Tacoma SR5. My only con was to tool. very hard to squeeze and failed to cleanly cut three out of four rivets, had to use wire cutters. Otherwise great product.
