Probably one the simplest installs in a very long time. The instructions were easy to follow. my only concern is using a hood lift shock in replacement of the existing strut bolt. But it all worked fine and open and shuts easily.

I ordered the set of hood struts for my 2018 Fusion, and they arrived the next day, I believe! I was shocked at how quickly they arrived...
I installed them (per the directions) in about 30 minutes... it was cold in my garage. I added a drop of oil to the threads of the two "ball-topped" studs that mounted to the shock towers, because the factory bolts were rusted and difficult to remove.

I had a missing snap on piece due from the handling of the shipping courier, I called to buy one and the owner answered my call. Within 5 minutes he had the piece I needed on the way free of charge. Redline has my repeat business after such an amazing quick moment of customer service.

RedLine Hood support struts	September 26, 2020

My 2019 Fusion Titanium uses a chintzy prop rod to support the hood during service; this I find mediocre and objectionable.
The RedLine hood struts work wonderfully, appear as if they were factory-installed, and actually should have been installed when the car was designed and built.

Ford FUSION Hood QuickLIFT PLUS - GOOD	May 21, 2018

1. The QuickLIFT PLUS system also work with the European version of the steel hood (Ford Mondeo mk5) :-)

2. The sales system does not support Polish letters, which causes problems with delivery of the package to the recipient. :-(
