These are perfect. Get the rivit tool and its a basic install. Only complaint if it is a complaint...shocks work TOO WELL!!! LOL

2016 Tacoma	February 6, 2021

Installed these on a 3rd gen Tacoma. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Only negative is the Max lift doesn't work with my ditch lights. Bonus points: sent a note to RL asking how to get rivets that can be used to move the bracket. The responded within a few hours (on a Sunday) and sent parts to aid in this move. Outstanding customer service!

Unexpected Amount of Happy	December 14, 2020

This modification was something I wanted to do from the time I got my truck. I wasn't sure I wanted the Max Lift or not, but now having it on there I'm thrilled I did. I replaced the grill a couple days after installing this and it was amazing how much room I had to work with. The hood wasn't too high like I feared. At 6'4" it is very nice to have a little more space.
I also really like the slow rise in the last 6 inches or so. It provides a lot of confidence that the hood won't just slam open.

These are a great addition to the Tacoma. Easy to install, hood opens up like it is remote controlled. Excellent quality, and easy to follow instructions.
