One of our most popular systems has always been for the Toyota Tacoma! Replace your hood's prop rod today with our Redline Tuning Hood QuickLIFT system. Progressive gas springs will lift and hold your hood without the need for a poorly placed prop-rod, simply start to lift your hood and let our QuickLIFT system take over. Your hood will lift and hold firmly at the raised position, eliminate your prop rod today. This QuickLIFT PLUS (All Black System) will fit the following Toyota Tacoma model years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. QuickLIFT system will fit all engines and models of Tacoma.

Features
  • No compromise system design - We design and engineer our QuickLIFT systems, mounting the gas springs where they need to be for proper function. We will not compromise the system design if it affects the final function in any way, this is why Redline Tuning leads the industry.
  • Simple one-handed operation, simply start to lift the hood and it will raise to the stock height unassisted in a smooth and controlled motion.
  • Progressive gas springs. Our springs are not off the shelf struts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Our exclusive end-of-force dampening slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel eliminating stress to the hood.
  • QuickLIFT systems work with any hood (steel, fiberglass, SMC, carbon fiber etc.) - we design our systems using the stock hood so the main market is covered, however, our systems are designed to work with ALL aftermarket hoods unless otherwise specified. There are some applications where a unique system is required for an aftermarket hood, read the product technical specifications section for specifics on each application.
  • Quick and simple installation – We design every QuickLIFT system and we write all of our own documentation. FULL COLOR installation manuals will arrive that will walk anyone through this simple installation - our customer comes first. You do NOT need to be a mechanic or car nut like us - we are so confident in our products that we post every installation manual on our website for you to review prior to ordering

I love the quick lift.
instructions are very good.
measure many times, double and triple check.
if you have to buy a pop rivet gun get a heavy duty one. I did not have enough hand strength to pop them. I used giant pliers on the end of my gun. That is a good thing those rivets are never coming out.

Great addition to any truck July 12, 2018

Happy with the redline quicklift system. I'm shocked that Toyota would cheap out & not install a strut system to their hoods. I no longer have to worry about resting my hood on a singular hood hook point which tweaks the hood overall.

The quicklift system took me about 30 minuted to install. Great care needs to be taken to measure and re-measure to assure accurate positioning of the mounting brackets. Also, if you have a drill collar, use it & set it for about 1/4" drill depth. You can easily make a mistake & overdrive that drill up into your hood.

Rivets worked well & positioning was on point. A little over-travel would have been nice for the strut but the soft slow travel at the end is a nice touch. The only annoying thing about the install is the C-clips on the strut mounting heads. They don't spread open evenly & I spent about 5 minutes alone trying to get one to open evenly. It's not a biggie, but a little annoying.

Works exactly as I anticipated - Perfect! June 8, 2018

I added the QuickLIFT Plus to my 2017 Tacoma.  The package arrived quickly and every thing I needed to install the struts was included.  It took me less than an hour to do the install, I did go slow to be sure to measure and remeasure before drilling anything.  The install went without a hitch and I am very please with the install.  That hood was very heavy to open but now even my great grandson can lift it. Thanks!
