Received these hood lift struts recently and completed the install the same day. So far (it's been about 2 weeks) they are working flawlessly. Can't speak to the longevity, but in all the reviews I have read there hasn't been any issues at all with these struts continuing to work as intended. The only recommendation I have to anyone considering an install is make sure you have a really good drill bit, as the hood hinges are made of hardened steel and are not easily drilled without a good bit. My first attempt was done using a cheap bit and I really struggled to make a pilot hole for the (included) step bit from Redline. After getting a proper bit the job was really quick and easy. I would have given 5 stars but haven't had them long enough to speak to longevity of the struts. Would definitley buy from Redline again.
