I went with the Elite kit, mostly for the better struts. While there is a few things I would change. Mostly when you spend $130 on a kit, I expected some better hardware. The bolts I received were already rusting. But I just went and got stainless hardware anyway to better match the stainless tubes on the struts. Still not enough to lower my rating. It is nice to not have to worry about the prop rod anymore. To the fact I totally removed it. And plugged the hole where the clip was with a panel clip. When you pay $50k for a truck that’s fully optioned and still have a prop rod, it’s not fun. This should be installed from the factory. The only draw back is I’ve lost the service position that Honda has that makes the hood totally vertical without getting the rod out and reinstalling it.
But all and all a decent kit, just a few things that could be done to make it perfect.
