Worked as described, I was disappointed to get a cheap carbon fiber sleeve with rubber caps for a $50 differencein cost. Had I done it again I would have went with the cheapest model.

Actually, the QuickLIFT Carbon option is $20 for actual carbon fiber - you purchased the ELITE series and the QuickLIFT Carbon option, combined for around $50 over the QuickLIFT PLUS. Most people who want the carbon option will choose the QuickLIFT PLUS, then option it with the QuickLIFT Carbon since the sleeves hide the stainless steel gas springs and they remove the whole point behind the ELITE series - we have since removed the QuickLIFT Carbon option from the ELITE series because we do not see the point. In the end, QuickLIFT Carbon is a $20 option.
