Purchased the product for my wife so she can raise and lower the hood easily as she’s only 5’ tall. She installed it herself in 10 minutes. Made a world of difference as the gladiator hood is quite heavy.

JT hood struts
Received the struts and it took less than 20 minutes to get them installed. Super easy to install, fit perfectly and the struts raise the hood (Mojave X - very heavy) with no problems. Very pleased and I recommend them to others with a Gladiator.

As always perfect fit and easy install on my 2026 Rubicon X with the steel hood. They work perfectly and helps me avoid lifting that heavy steel hood.

They were one of the easiest installs I've ever done. They work great and no more working around the hood support rod and in fear when you hit it the hood will come down on your head. The graphite cover finishes it off nicely.
