These hood lift supports were relatively easy to install. I only had to make one minor modification to an evap system hose/release valve that just happened to be inline with the one of the piston arms.

It's so nice to open the hood one handed. The installation took about an hour and turned out perfect. I would highly recommend this upgrade!

I was really surprised at the promptness of the product from you guys!  To me, it shows you care about your customers and in today's world, that's saying something.
The only shortcoming I found was in the hood mounting brackets fitting snugly against the hood. As a retired engineer, I saw two flaws that you can readily fix with minimal tooling changes.  Otherwise good job guys.  Oh ya... works well and I love it.

this kit works exactly as advertised, easy install
except the rivets were hard for an old man to set, I used cheaters and got it done. the hood goes up quickly till bout 4 or 5 inches from full open then slows down and gently gets fully open, I have opened the hood several times for no reason other than to just watch it work. thanks REDLINE
OH I forgot to say the install was on a 2003 Tacoma

Good overall experience and operation after installation.
The holes in the fender brackets were too small for the self tapping screws and had to be drilled out slightly larger
