The instructions are very clear very concise and very detailed I had no problems with the entire installation and it only took about 45 minutes

I had to take one star for the pop rivets. Without a doubt the hardest pop rivets I’ve ever installed and I’ve installed my share. I used the two extra on the first bracket because the mandrel was snapping off high. The first rivet gun I used was old and kept slipping. I bought a new heavy duty and that barely got the job done.

If you watch the how to vid you’ll see a pneumatic gun is being used, that’s how difficult they are.

To finish on a high note the instructions are very clear and concise. The lift pistons raise the hood very high providing a lot of working clearance.

These things are great. I am a new 3rd Gen Tacoma owner and when I heard the gripes about how heavy the hoods were I was like, nah, there's no way, it'll be fine...well I learned in short order that in fact, the hoods are kind of obnoxiously heavy, and I am kinda short. I put on these and they're amazing. I don't have to fight with the hood prop because the QuickLIFT basically opens the hood on their own, but they're not overwhelmingly strong to the point where it makes it difficult to pull the hood down. They were easy to install, however, I would absolutely say TAKE YOUR TIME with the install. There is measuring, drilling and riveting involved, which isn't hard to do but it can be easy to screw up if you're not paying attention...BUT, they look factory when they are done right. Would absolutely 100% buy again.

I had taken some time and wrote a detailed review but each time I tried to submit it, I had a -too many characters- error message. So after 4 attempts at trimming down my review this one will be brief and to the point.

Difficult installation for a person not comfortable with tools and measuring accurately. If you do not feel comfortable drilling into your shiny vehicle, get a qualified mechanic to do the install.

Watch their video but realize that they used a pneumatic rivet gun. The riveting is the hardest part of the install.

Once installed they are a great addition to my 2022 Tacoma. 4 stars because the instructions have inadequate photos, watch the video instead.

By far the best upgrade and bang for the buck that all Tacoma nuts must have. Installation and instructions were straightforward, results were as factory sanitary as they should have been ,well from the factory. Toyota dropped the ball and Redline picked it up and ran with it. Thank you for a great product and super fast delivery.

Incredible product and even better service! I made a mistake on the installation (my fault, not the instructions- which are illustrated and very well done), and when I contacted support to request the opportunity to purchase new hardware, I was sent new hardware for free, needing only to supply proof of purchase. The hardware arrived quickly, and with plenty of extra rivets to ensure I would have what I need. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I hardly have to get it started, and that heavy Toyota Tacoma hood just lifts on its own. Thank you!
