Perfect Fit & Operation for 2025 RAV4 PHEV |

These hood struts perfectly fit my 2025 RAV4 PHEV. Directions were excellent. I tied a 35"length of 1x2 to the hood latch in the center of the hood, and wedged its base on the plastic fascia in front of the radiator. With that, didn't need someone to hold the hood up while I worked on it. Used a Doyle 13" dual handle riveter (H. Freight) to gain more mechanical advantage for my old arthritic hands. Made remarkably easy work of setting stainless steel rivets. Before drilling hood bracket top holes, I measured to ascertain that top and bottom bracket edges were the same distance from the hood edge, and then abutted a piece of tape along the bracket edge so I could detect any shift as I began to drill. Re-installed the original prop rod bolt, just to cover the hole, before installing the struts. Popped bottom strut connectors onto studs, removed my 35" stick (which held the hood a bit too high for the struts), and held hood while rocking each top strut connector into place. Job done.
