So when I found these things online I was both thrilled and skeptical. You know how sometimes you order something from Amazon and the goods are absolutely not as advertised? Not the case here. Very strong pistons, solidly made brackets. Literally 4 screws. Also the instructions themselves are amazing! Step by step descriptions AND color photos to copy! The one little issue you might want to be aware of is the piece that grip the studs on each end of the pistons unscrew easily so verify they're fully seated otherwise there is a chance you could strip the threads opening or closing your hood. But overall? SO happy with these, the hood staying up on its own seems like it should be a standard thing in a vehicle that has 2 drive systems you know?
