If you have purchased a new hood and need original QuickLIFT system hardware for your new hood, this is the kit for you. It will come with the same hood-only attachment hardware that we ship with our new Hood QuickLIFT systems - the fender or lower attachments are not part of this kit. This kit will come with two new hood brackets and the mounting rivets to attach to your AFTERMARKET hood. You can leave the current brackets on your stock hood and duplicate placement on your new one with this kit. Just download the installation manual from our website for exact placement and mount the new hardware on your hood. Then reattach the gas springs and you are all set. This hardware kit fits the following Ford Mustang model years: 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 for AFTERMARKET HOODS.

After changing hoods on my Mustang, I really appreciate being able to reuse my hood struts with the addition of this hardware kit.

looks to be the same as the original pairs hood connection. Set the drill to penetrate just far enough, not out the top of the hood.
These will allow me to use the quick lifts on my new custom hood. Once the paint dries!
Nothing like controlling the hood rather than having it lift off the prop rod.
