This QuickLIFT System fits the following Ford Ranger model years: 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011.
This system is designed to work with aftermarket hoods for the above model years - we have designed a bolt in system for the 3rd generation Ranger, however, your Ranger must have the required holes in hood frame needed for proper bolt in installation. Download our installation manual for the 21-11020 bolt in system - if your Ranger model year is between 1998-2011 or 3rd generation and has these holes (located approximately 22.5" up from bottom and 3-4" inward), your Ranger should utilize our bolt in system... 21-11020b.
This system is also compatible with Mazda B-Series trucks from 1993-2009.

INSTALLATION - The Hood QuickLIFT System includes all components needed for the installation. Some mounting hardware included in the system requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball stud brackets (drilling is required). We include detailed full-color installation manuals to make installation a breeze.

QuickLIFT (SILVER HARDWARE) - All of our mounting hardware is zinc-plated steel, giving it a shiny silver color designed to last in harsh environments. QuickLIFT includes black gas springs. There is a four-year warranty on all QuickLIFT models.

BLACK GAS SPRINGS - The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application. Gas strut orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood bracket) and extending rod attaches to lower ball stud.
