This QuickLIFT System is a bolt in system designed for the following 3rd generation Ford Ranger model years with STOCK HOODS & required holes in hood frame: 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011.
This system is designed as a bolt in system for the 3rd generation Ranger, however, your Ranger must have the required holes in hood frame needed for proper bolt in installation. Download our installation manual for the 21-11020 bolt in system - if your Ranger model year is between 1998-2011 or 3rd generation and has these holes (located approximately 22.5" up from bottom and 3-4" inward), your Ranger should utilize this bolt in system.
Our QuickLIFT Carbon option does not fit this application - will not work on either QuickLIFT PLUS or ELITE series for the bolt in system.

✔ STAINLESS STEEL GAS SPRINGS - The gas springs used in our ELITE series are 316L Stainless steel (brushed silver in color). The end fittings used are designed specifically for each application. Gas spring orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood) and extending rod attaching to lower ball stud.
