This system is specifically designed for the 2007-17 Jeep JK with AEV Hoods, it is the best on the market. This system does NOT come with the AEV hood - however, if you have the AEV hood on your Jeep, our Hood QuickLIFT System will fit great and eliminate the need for a manual prop rod.
Now our Systems include Quick-release end-fittings on the gas struts for the Jeep models. This allows the user to easily remove the strut from the lower attachment and then place the hood all the way back onto the wind-shield.

✔ INSTALLATION - The Hood QuickLIFT System includes all components needed for the installation. Some mounting hardware included in the system requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball stud brackets (drilling is required). We include detailed full-color installation manuals to make installation a breeze.
✔ QuickLIFT PLUS (ALL BLACK SYSTEM) - All of our installation hardware is designed to last and we spare no expense on the details. First, we zinc plate all steel-mounting hardware, then each bracket is also black powder coated for the ultimate in corrosion protection. QuickLIFT PLUS includes black gas springs. There is a four-year warranty on all QuickLIFT PLUS components.
✔ BLACK GAS SPRINGS - The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application. Gas strut orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood bracket) and extending rod attaches to lower ball stud.
✔ PROGRESSIVE-RATE GAS SPRINGS - Redline Tuning gas springs are not off-the-shelf parts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Our exclusive end-of-stroke dampening slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel eliminating stress to the hood.
✔ QUICK-RELEASE ENDS - Both lower strut attachments include a quick-release mechanism that allows the hood to be released from the gas struts. This allows the user to easily remove the gas strut from the lower attachment and rest hood on the windshield of your Jeep as if the struts were not installed. Simply snap them back on to utilize your Hood QuickLIFT System.
