I ordered these additional rivets, along with my prior order for the gas struts. This was for my 2024 Toyota Highlander.
Holding the rivet gun the correct way is very essential, since using it incorrectly, does not put the rivet completely in.Thus, the rivet snapped, leaving it slightly loose. Reading the instructions for a second time, I realized I used the rivet gun incorrectly. I drilled out the loose rivet, which was not tightly installed and inserted a new one correctly. The gas struts work excellent in the opening and closing of the hood.
