Included - 1 pair of metal end-fittings that include curved wire retainer to hold ball-stud securely. These are treated steel - Black zinc-plating. Most of our QuickLIFT systems use 72-00002, this full steel end-fitting is not necessary in most applications.

Product, itself is a beneficial add-on but for the money, it seems like they would do away with spring clips and utilize the pin retainers rather than cause us to buy them after the clips fail.

2021 Bronco Replacement Steel End-Fitting	December 7, 2021

Ford's 2021 Bronco tailgate used vinyl threads in the strut end-fitting. The vinyl threads failed in less than 3K miles (about 4 months old). Reline Tuning's steel end-fitting is a perfect replacement and utilizes steel threads that are much stronger and more durable. RLT's customer service was super helpful, too!

I bout the struts without the upgraded metal end fittings. After trying for hours to get the stupid flat clips on to lock them in place I dropped a clip down in my engine bay. Couldn't find it so I ordered the upgraded ends cause they came with the locking clips and they were so much nicer and more heavy duty. Way easier to put on. Definitely worth the upgrade.
