Ordered a set of struts for my truck and they arrived in a couple days. While installing I broke one of the plastic pieces on the end. (Ball catch) I called Monday morning to order/pay for a new one and they sent me two for free! Great service guys! They work as advertised and no need for a hood prop.

Shipping and installation were fantastic. The QuickLift plus actuators are easy to install and work really well. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace the hood prop.

There was a mix-up with the item I received the first time (for a Maverick), so it took a little extra time to receive the product I ordered for my Colorado, but once I received the correct item installation was a breeze thanks to the well written instructions with graphics. The product performs beautifully and even though they state it raises the hood three inches higher than the stand it doesn't seem to negatively impact the poorly engineered plastic trim GM put over the hood arms (Google if unfamiliar). Overall, I can recommend this product for those looking to have the functionality GM should've just included from the factory. Thanks!

How easy and simple installation based on photos In install guide. Product was packaged very nice and came quickly with 2 day delivery within Michigan. Not sure why your neighbors (General Motors) does not purchase these from you and put on the Truck at the Assembly Plants? For minimum added expense it sure raises added value and convenience to the end user compared to a cheap hood prop rod

A great kit, well packaged and well designed! Just have one suggestion for the instructions: instead of rocking the gas strut ends back and forth to install on the ball studs, gently prying up on the metal clips with a small flat screwdriver will release them, allowing the struts to slip on with no effort. Then just push the clips back on fully to retain them. This will be have much less potetial foe damaging the strut ends.
