Unlike some of the competition these struts bolt to the hinge and the flange utilising a hood hinge bolt and an existing hole. I station could not have been easier. Not sure why Mazda does not do this from the factory on this model.

This is about the 5th set of struts I have purchased for my various vehicles. This one was for my 2023 Mazda CX-30. Fit like a glove. No drilling. Very easy install. Highly recommend these for any car that doesn't have self supporting struts. So nice to just open the hood and not put up that rod...

I am so glad I found this great product. They were very easy to install and work like a charm. I like to open the hood when I get home after driving and this makes it so much easier than using the prop rod every time. Helps speed up the cooling period.

I bought these for my 2017 Mazda3, six years ago and they worked flawlessly until I got rid of it. The first thing I did when I bought the cx-30 was to order a set for the new car. The instillation 6 years ago was a little involved but his new set used existing wholes and took a total of about 8 minutes for both sides. They’ve been on the car 3 weeks and I trust that they’ll work for years to come just like the last pair.

Product is perfect. Took me approximately 5 minutes to install. I particularly like the soft open aspect where the hood raises at a good speed and slows in the last few inches for a nice soft open, no abrupt stop at full extension. I highly recommend this product.
