This hood lift kit is perfect. Easy drill holes and install pop rivets. Instructions are right on the mark . This has made my hood lift by itself, just by releasing the latches. Goes up slow and even. My right arm does not work well , so this was just perfect.

5 of 5 Great product , instructions helpful-one oversight February 9, 2021

I was impressed with the product, packaging and instructions geared towards my FJ40.  But the final steps which requires “snapping” on to the ball joint fails to mention YOU need to pull back the clip.  At first I tried to pop it on and almost bent the clip all the way in.  Once you pull the clip back it is super easy.  I am going to post a video review on my You Tube channel.

They look great , very well packaged, best I have ever had from the US. I wont have them installed till the end of year because project is in the panel shop at the moment
