I've been wanting these for a while. Most of the vehicles I've had always had hood struts,but not my amazing Tacoma. Well after 259,000 miles and for her 10th birthday I got them for her! They are awesome!

Great product and instructions, easy to install	May 8, 2021

I was hesitant to drill into the truck and use rivets but the instructions and testimonials gave me the confidence I needed to take on this modification. The rivet tool available here worked well and the installation took less than an hour. (Most of that time spent measuring and re-measuring and re-watching the video so I didn't make a mistake!)

Great Hood Struts	May 30, 2020

Once I installed these hood struts on my Tacoma, I wish I would have done it much sooner! The install was easy and it’s so much easier opening my hood! The Elite carbon fiber is also great!

two bad things	October 15, 2019

two things about the installation:
1. The drivers side unit installation interfered with the toyota security alarm sensor and I had to move the sensor and now I can't find a way to arm my security system silently.

2. The installation instructions decline to mention that a c-clamp type fastener is used on the lower piston and needs to ge removed before pressing onto the spindle and by pressing it on without removing it I damaged the c-clamp and can't find another of this type to replace it.
