These were just the trick to stave off a $200+ bracket that supported the hood rod. Installation and fit were perfect.

Shipment arrived fast and everything was good.
Unpacked the hood lifts and hardware. Took no time at all to place them on the car. Had one issue with the ball clip spring bending on one of the strut ends. Took a few minutes to get it back to working order. Other then that they seem to work good so far.

The Lift fits excellent on my 2015 Focus ST MK3. Installation was easy. Shipping took some time but perfectly went through german custom office. You only should repaint the screw nuts after installation.

The hood lift kit is great.  I installed it on my own in less than an hour.  I spent the time making sure that the hood stayed in the same location as original.  All the information in the ad and all the installation instructions that came with the kit were spot on.  Not a single surprise.  I am going to leave the original hood rod in the car - it will not be in the way and like a parking brake, it will be there if necessary.  In total, a great accessory for the car.  would I buy one again for another car?  Absolutely.

Very easy to install.  So nice to just open the hood and have it stay in place.  These should be standard equipment on the 2016 Ford Focus RS.
