These things are great, and for day-to-day convenience are a must-have for any vehicle that didn’t come with them from the factory.  The install went smoothly with the exception of p/n 32-00012.  I had to egg out the mounting hole a little on the outboard side with a rat-tail file to get it to fit into place against the hood hinge.  No big deal, and worth it because life is too short to futz around with a hood prop rod!

Love the QuickLift hood struts.  No issues with opening and closing and no need for an additional spring at the latch.  After a little research these were the best choice.  Double check the hood mount picture when installing as it is easy to mistake the right and left during fitment.  It says it will not close all the way if you have it backwards.

So much better than the hood prop rod. These are well worth the money, a little pricey compared to other manufactures, but well worth the extra money, and made in USA!  Install is easy and straightforward with included instructions and online video. Definitely have more confidence in this brand than most others. 2023 Ford Maverick 2.0 ecoboost

great customer service and a really great product. I have used the QuickLift struts on all my Mustangs to do away with the hood prop. Just installed a set on my new Maverick truck and the instalation was quick and simple. Recommend there product To anyone.
