My brother talked me into buying a Jeep. So in the spirit of Jeep modification the first modification I did was to install the hood lift system from Redline Tuning. Great product, pop the hood, just a little lift and it opens and soft dampens at the full open. The Jeep lift comes with quick disconnects so if you need to get serious under the hood, you can lay it back on the windshield without any tools.
I was at a Jeep Jamboree and one of the guys at my table was saying he has a LOT of modification to his Jeep and the hood struts were by FAR his favorite modification.
I liked that idea I purchased quick disconnects for my Ridgeline that can open the hood vertical with a special stick slot. The Redline Tuning hood lift kit for the Ridgeline works flawlessly, had it for a few months now and any check under the hood is quick and easy.
