i purchased the ford ranger hood QuickLiFT for my 82 year old dad and he like a kid in a candy store he loves how easy it is to raised the hood now. redline tuning got a A+ from us will purchased other produucts from them. love it. Eddie Jean Harp

The product was perfect. The instructions were easy to follow and all the correct materials were included. I installed the struts in less than an hour completely by myself.

easy set up, fairly easy install. i like the final outcome of the product. but i had many issues with the clips on the shocks. therefore i gave it 4 stars

Hood struts!	December 18, 2017

I purchased a set of hood struts for a elderly friend of mine that struggles opening the hood on his 2010 Ranger.
We haven’t had a chance to install them yet, but it looks like they are pretty easy to install.
My friend says it’s the only thing Ford got wrong with his Ranger, and as a Service Director at a Ford dealership I agree! Thank you.

involves drilling into hood and body	September 23, 2017

This piston will work fine, but the work involved to install it was enormous. had to drill holes in the hood, and body to screw in the plates. If you don't want the holes to rust...painted them. Then had to move and cut the rubber cushions that cushioned the hood closing. Hardly a custom part - why even ask for the make/model or year - clearly these are one-size doesn't fill all, and you have to make them fit.
