The kit arrived as posted on the tracking. All components for installation were in the kit along with the instructions. The installation entailed about 45 minutes, with the greater amount required for making measurements on the hood (as I double checked to ensure correct positioning of the brackets). The system works perfectly - lifts the hood with minimal effort and provides no resistance in closing the hood. I am more than satisfied with the kit, and strongly recommend its purchase by all 2020 Explorer owners

I installed these on 7-11-20 and they work excellent! It only took about 30 minutes to install, and that was mostly because of a sub-par rivet gun. Be sure you have a good riveter.

I hope that I get years of good service out of these hood struts, only time will tell.

I do wish they were a bit beefier, I believe there is room for a larger diameter cylinder. It would be nice to have an option that looks like a smaller version of the struts on the rear lift-gate...beefy and black.

I highly recommend Redline Tuning. I purchased the Hood QuickLIFT PLUS for my 2020 Ford Explorer ST. The shipping was lightening fast. The product was exactly as described. I was able to go on YouTube and find a video which guided me with installation. Even if I didn’t have the video, the instructions with pictures and notations would have been enough. However, what SURPRISED me was calling them and having someone knowledgeable answer the phone and assist me with an additional purchase. I’d definitely recommend them but moreover I’d buy their products AGAIN.

Finally, a new Quick Lift Hood PLUS struts for my new 2020 Explorer ST from Redline/Tuning. This is something FORD should have included all along for the $60K Explorer price.

Skimping by NOT including something like hood struts which should have been a given to begin on a vehicle with this price point is simply inexcusable and just mind boggling in my humble opinion.

Thank goodness, enter Redline/Tuning to the rescue by designing and producing the hood struts for the 2020 Ford Explorer.

Now my Explorer is finished and complete as it should have been all along from FORD. Lastly, I no longer am embarrassed in trying to explain to someone when opening my hood why my Explorer didn't have any hood struts. Thank you once again Redline/Tuning for making this possible by providing this service for us the consumer.    

 I want to thank Brian and his team at Redline/Tuning for making these hood struts a reality and possible.

The hood quick lift is great, I was so glad to replace the manual hood prop rod. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the install looks clean.

Struts and attaching hardware were engineered well.  Instructions were complete and easy to understand. Struts work well.

Warehouse shipped wrong mounting brackets but Redline was quick to correct and send out correct brackets.

5 of 5 Love my 2020 Ford Explorer ST Hood Struts! April 10, 2020

Really nice quality, they look great and their included simple, full-color instructions make it easy for anyone to follow and install the two struts.  I can't remember ever getting instructions so complete and so easy to follow because they included lots of step-by-step full color photos!  I ordered their suggested rivet tool because you need one and I didn't have one ... the 4 rives you'll need are included with the hardware for the struts.  I also opted for the carbon fiber sleeves that dress up the struts, because my ST has a Ford Performance engine and I wanted to dress up my struts ... although the gloss black would be cool. too.  i highly recommend this product and their customer focus.

The QuickLift’s for my 2020 Explorer ST fits perfectly! The products and installation came pretty quick from Redline Tuning even though it was on back order. The installation were very easy to follow and fishing install in under 20 minutes. Thank you Redline Tuning for this setup on my hood, I love it!
