I was really surprised at the promptness of the product from you guys! To me, it shows you care about your customers and in today's world, that's saying something.
The only shortcoming I found was in the hood mounting brackets fitting snugly against the hood. As a retired engineer, I saw two flaws that you can readily fix with minimal tooling changes. Otherwise good job guys. Oh ya... works well and I love it.

The instructions for installing hood struts on a 1st gen Tacoma either calls for the wrong drill bit size, or the wrong size screws are included in the kit. Per the instructions, I ended up making a 5/16" hole when it should have been 3/16" hole. I ended up welding the strut brackets to my car frame to correct the problem. Other than that, the struts seem great.

Ordered on the 9th of May, Delivered bu USPS on May 24th. It shouldn't have taken that long. Great product, easy to install.

quicklift strut install	March 16, 2020

this kit works exactly as advertised, easy install
except the rivets were hard for an old man to set, I used cheaters and got it done. the hood goes up quickly till bout 4 or 5 inches from full open then slows down and gently gets fully open, I have opened the hood several times for no reason other than to just watch it work. thanks REDLINE
OH I forgot to say the install was on a 2003 Tacoma

Good overall experience and operation after installation.
The holes in the fender brackets were too small for the self tapping screws and had to be drilled out slightly larger

I took my time and the installation came out great! This is a quality product and a big improvement getting the factory hood support rod out of the way. Customer service is excellent also.

I just installed the quick lift hood struts on my 1999 Tacoma. Took probably two hours, but that was with my kids "helping". This kit is awesome! One of the most satisfying mods I've done.
