I waited and waited on this upgrade. Kicking myself for not doing it sooner. One of best upgrade anyone who hates using hood stand. I recommend ASAP Do It Now!!!

Valve gas springs need to have a better process for manipulating the clips around the post. Forcing a screw driver under the clip sent mine flying and not a pleasant experience.

Everything about this kit was perfect from the get go. Not only were the instructions crystal clear, the actual measurements provided were spot on. I had an issue with a C clip that was deformed and they didn't hesitate to mail me not 1 but 2 replacements, free of charge. I am very happy with my purchase and this company.

The Redline hood struts work great on my 2018 Tacoma. The hood is very heavy and these struts handle it with ease. The support from them is second to none. If you have a problem or question, just call them.

The addition of hood lift assistance surely relates to whether you do any service on your vehicle. If you are a DIYer then this change makes alot of sense. It also is a safety factor that relates to dropping that hood. This kit is an excellent conversion and easy to install. The quality of the equipment is apparent. Even your mechanic will appreciate it. :)
